Director of Marketing - Phaeton Auto Group

We are looking for a Director of Marketing to lead and execute digital and traditional marketing strategies for our very successful automotive group.
You will report to our Vice Chairman & Executive Vice President – GTA. Your office will be located in one of our GTA dealerships.

As a key member of our senior team, your main accountabilities include the following:
Manage all aspects of marketing for all dealerships including website, digital, events, and traditional – including writing and delivering engaging content that clearly communicate who we are and what we stand for

- Responsible for growing the Phaeton and associated brands and generating business opportunities and customer retention strategies
- Be our internal expert on digital marketing, search engines and industry trends and developments
- Successfully design and execute unique and memorable marketing strategies
- Develop and implement innovative marketing concepts to generate new business and retain customers
- Recommend and manage marketing budgets and work closely with our Finance Team to monitor spend and return on investment
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for growing the online channel awareness and engagement
- Enhance our search engine ranking for identified keywords and phrases
- Maintain and grow our social media presence
- Monitor, measure, and report on the success of community engagement
- Provide detailed website reporting, web traffic, analytics and engagement ensure timely updates of company websites with current promotions, campaigns, photos of product lines and dealership story.
- Lead or participate in other projects as needed

Must haves:

- University degree – preferably in Communications, Business, Marketing/Digital Marketing
- 5 years' hands on marketing experience within automotive, automotive retail, aftermarket or agency with automotive as a primary client
- Proven social media training and execution
- Website management experience
- Photoshop skills (resizing, minor edits, adding logos)
- Strong demonstrated ability to manage complex and competing projects as well as multiple

priorities

Parts Manager

Phaeton Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Parts Manager to join the Thornhill Hyundai team.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Responsible for the effective operations of all Parts Department activities
    within Thornhill Hyundai
  • Manage retail Parts, Accessories and Tires Sales Targets and optimize
    performance
  • Maintain range and depth of inventory while minimizing investment
  • Minimize aged stock on-hand
  • Manage and maintain a perpetual inventory process
  • Manage and grow the company's parts wholesale and online sales
    operations
  • Support Customer Service Retention tools (CSR)
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis and recommendations of
    department performance to the management team for improvement
  • Accountable for the financial performance, department operating profit,
    coordinated marketing, customer relations, staffing, and overall coordination
    of the Parts Department
  • Participate in the annual budget preparation and validate its premise with
    quantifiable data and initiatives
  • Hire, educate, motivate, guide, and evaluate performance of parts
    department staff.
  • Stocks items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on
    shelves; adjusting inventory system and assuring all safety risks
  • Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security
    standards and procedures; complying with PAG, Hyundai Canada and
    Government codes
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing
    new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job
    accomplishments

Required Experience Ideal candidates will have: 

  • Proven track record of achieving or over-achieving goals
  • Strong organization, Collaborations and time management skills
  • Import, E-commerce / Amazon sales experience
  • MS Office experience with an emphasis on Outlook and Excel.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to our corporate finance and accounting team; measure the team’s effectiveness, find efficiencies. Build positive moral and respect amongst the team.

Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance and currently holds a CPA, CMA or CGA
  • Significant accounting experience, including recent experience in a similar level role within a mulit-locational company or automotive retail
  • Ability and willingness to take a practical approach and undertake work at an operational level.
  • Prior specialization in taxation, financial reporting &/or audit.
  • Prior experience in leading business process improvement and project management.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
  • Reynolds and Reynolds software experience is recommended but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in preparing reports and presentations.
  • Proven ability to understand key financial and business variables in a complex and changing commercial environment.

Used Car Sales Manager - Richmond Hill Hyundai

 

Richmond Hill Hyundai is currently searching for an experienced Used Car Sales Manager. Position Summary


- Consult with Sales Representatives and the General Sales Manager to set out clearly defined dealership used vehicle expense and sales goals
- Stay abreast of the local / provincial resale vehicle market and use this knowledge to appraise used vehicles and set realistic used vehicle retail prices for the dealership according to guidelines set by the General Sales Manager
- Oversee the used vehicle certification program and ensure that trade-in vehicles are reconditioned according to approved strategy and displayed appropriately on the used vehicle lot
 
- Monitor used vehicle inventory and compensate for shortages/excesses by adjusting the wholesale buy/sell activities and/or evaluation of trade-ins. Maintain an up-to-date used vehicle inventory listing for sales staff
- Execute approved pricing over time strategies to ensure inventory turnover
- Observe strengths and opportunities of Sales Representatives and perform one-on-one training or consult with the General Sales Manager to schedule formal corporate training sessions as needed
- Approve used vehicle trade-in and sales agreements submitted by Sales Representatives
- Attend to customer complaints about used vehicles in a prompt and effective manner to minimize customer inconvenience / dissatisfaction and to maximize the dealership’s customer image. Refer difficult complaints to higher management.
- Keep abreast of competitive industry and local trends and participate with the General Sales Manager in developing advertising and promotional campaigns to capitalize on recognized trends. Take charge of execution of approved marketing programs
