We are looking for a Director of Marketing to lead and execute digital and traditional marketing strategies for our very successful automotive group.
You will report to our Vice Chairman & Executive Vice President – GTA. Your office will be located in one of our GTA dealerships.

As a key member of our senior team, your main accountabilities include the following:
Manage all aspects of marketing for all dealerships including website, digital, events, and traditional – including writing and delivering engaging content that clearly communicate who we are and what we stand for

- Responsible for growing the Phaeton and associated brands and generating business opportunities and customer retention strategies
- Be our internal expert on digital marketing, search engines and industry trends and developments
- Successfully design and execute unique and memorable marketing strategies
- Develop and implement innovative marketing concepts to generate new business and retain customers
- Recommend and manage marketing budgets and work closely with our Finance Team to monitor spend and return on investment
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for growing the online channel awareness and engagement
- Enhance our search engine ranking for identified keywords and phrases
- Maintain and grow our social media presence
- Monitor, measure, and report on the success of community engagement
- Provide detailed website reporting, web traffic, analytics and engagement ensure timely updates of company websites with current promotions, campaigns, photos of product lines and dealership story.
- Lead or participate in other projects as needed

Must haves:

- University degree – preferably in Communications, Business, Marketing/Digital Marketing
- 5 years' hands on marketing experience within automotive, automotive retail, aftermarket or agency with automotive as a primary client
- Proven social media training and execution
- Website management experience
- Photoshop skills (resizing, minor edits, adding logos)
- Strong demonstrated ability to manage complex and competing projects as well as multiple

- Strong social, interpersonal and communications skills (written and verbal)

Service Manager

Summary

We are currently looking for a professional and experienced Service Manager in the GTA. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, supporting our dealership staff and customers while playing an integral part in building our business, this opportunity may be for you!

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operations, marketing and profitability of the service department
  • Motivates, trains, develops and rewards employees
  • Forecast sales, gross profits and expenses
  • Attends Managers meetings and conducts weekly service department meetings
  • Maintains an at or above national average CSI score and follows up with all guest issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work with the Parts Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed
  • Train Advisors and Technicians on Dealership procedures
  • Manage technician productivity, work with Shop Forman to ensure customer vehicles are serviced properly and in a timely manner
  • Develop and execute effective customer relations policies
  • Constantly monitors operations in all areas of the service department to ensure smooth flow of work, quality performance in line with customer commitments to ensure customer satisfaction, and overall effectiveness of processes
  • Spot checks technical work performed on customer vehicles to confirm the effectiveness of the Technical Foreman and Technicians
  • Oversees warranty administration, including effective communication of warranty policy and procedure to customers and staff, the review and application of warranty policy and ensuring correct processing of claims
  • Coordinates parts availability and sublets operations in order to support and maximize the performance of the Service Advisors
  • Ensures the compliance of the Service Department with company policy and procedures
  • Maintain industry awareness and understanding of vehicle trends, pricing, product availability and market conditions
  • Ability to market, attract and retain customers
  • Build and execute on seasonal Marketing plans

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Service Management, within automotive retail
  • Possesses technical training from a technical college, high school co-op program, and/or manufacturers’ training program. Candidate who possesses a qualified “Class A” technician certification is considered an asset. Preference is given to those with experience with automotive import brands
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong operational leadership abilities with an emphasis on good governance (transparency, reporting, safety first, policy and compliance adherence etc.)
  • Possesses knowledge of applicable local, provincial, and federal regulations and laws pertaining to automotive parts and service.
  • Reynolds experience preferred

  • Stay abreast of the local / provincial resale vehicle market and use this knowledge to appraise used vehicles and set realistic used vehicle retail prices for the dealership according to guidelines set by the General Sales Manager
  • Oversee the used vehicle certification program and ensure that trade-in vehicles are reconditioned according to approved strategy and displayed appropriately on the used vehicle lot
  • Monitor used vehicle inventory and compensate for shortages/excesses by adjusting the wholesale buy/sell activities and/or evaluation of trade-ins. Maintain an up-to-date used vehicle inventory listing for sales staff
  • Execute approved pricing over time strategies to ensure inventory turnover
  • Observe strengths and opportunities of Sales Representatives and perform one-on-one training or consult with the General Sales Manager to schedule formal corporate training sessions as needed
  • Approve used vehicle trade-in and sales agreements submitted by Sales Representatives
  • Attend to customer complaints about used vehicles in a prompt and effective manner to minimize customer inconvenience / dissatisfaction and to maximize the dealership’s customer image. Refer difficult complaints to higher management.
  • Keep abreast of competitive industry and local trends and participate with the General Sales Manager in developing advertising and promotional campaigns to capitalize on recognized trends. Take charge of execution of approved marketing programs
